Loon Zoom #1: ADK Loon Rescues

Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation

The first of the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation’s winter series of six Loon Zooms will be offered on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 7 pm – 8 pm.

The virtual presentation will feature ACLC’s executive director, Dr. Nina Schoch, and long-time ACLC field staff member and retired forest ranger Gary Lee. Together, they will share stories from their decades of experience rescuing and recovering loons in distress throughout the Adirondack Park, as well as insights into status of the Park’s loon population.

Registration is $10 and can be completed at ACLC’s online store - https://adkloon.square.site/.

Loon Zooms will be offered the second Thursday of each month through April and will feature guest speakers from around the country who work with Loon populations.
